i believe that his involvement in propelling or influencing a leaning toward bible prophecy will unfold.
how, i can’t say but something tells me that this anomaly and outlier being trump is highly signifiant!

@Riley it’s called COVID-19 for a reason by the end of 2020 we knew what to do, what worked and what didn’t, we had a vaccine which the US funded development for the world. Whatever happened after that is on Biden, the 2021-2022 lockdowns, the mandates, none of that had to happen, it was proven to be wrong before they even got there. You can go see the stats yourself, 2021-2022 was nowhere near as bad as 2019-2020 when it comes to death and knowledge and financial impact. But as you stated, you won’t read facts from an apostate.

PRESIDENTIAL predictions...let the prognosticators have their say!

etc.i was a widdle kid sitting in front of a tiny black and white tv set when the very first broadcastsof political conventions, deal-making, debates (nixon vs kennedy), assassinations (jfk, rfk, martin luther king, etc.
) i grew up with duck and cover under my elementary schooldesk, the cold war, the iron curtain, the korean war, the vietnam war and i went to federal prisonas a jw conscientious objector while hippies, flower children, political activists protested and universitystudents were fired up on by troops.i grew up reading newspapers (2 of them).

The Biden DOJ just dropped all cases against Trump, the cases they started as soon as Trump announced he was running. Not obvious enough this was not election interference? The election is decided and poof, all the cases disappear overnight for lack of evidence.
Jack Smith is reportedly being investigated by the Biden DOJ for leaking sensitive information to the media, while Trump is looking into filing a complaint against Jack Smith for abusing his authority and most likely will have an official investigation into the matter. He tried to lodge a motion with the courts attempting to save his job despite his marching orders to drop the cases, his entire office is being sacked.

@Riley: I have heard your arguments elsewhere, but Biden caused inflation worldwide, because decisions he made on Iran, Russia and China. Not just Biden, really his ideology that the Germans also pursued in regards energy and China and Iran and Russia took full advantage.
When Trump left office, the pandemic was practically over and the markets and economy had already recovered.
The economy is in the tank, you may see the media finally be honest about it because now they can blame Trump again, but we have been in a recession. The Biden admin lied by the hundreds of thousands on the job numbers, and the jobs they created (the ones that haven’t even recovered from pre-pandemic levels) went 75/25 to illegals according to the statistics, which is what happens when you give work permits to illegal immigrants pending their case which is scheduled 5-10 years down the line and 90% will never show up for. They built an app just so illegals can get their “temporary” legal status approved on a cell phone before they even get in the country.
It is funny you have to qualify that debt statement, we haven’t seen a peacetime president in hundreds of years and then you exclude every president since Reagan on economy. The first president that made it so we didn’t have to deal with war, recession or terrorism somehow he got there by pure luck? Come on.

Why do most Ex jW W‘s seem to be liberal?
by JaredScott-1977 ini’m just curious about this dynamic i don’t care personally one way or the other but i do have friends who have chosen to be conservatives and they get totally destroyed on social media pages for their choice.
it’s almost like a lot of ex jw w become as toxic and his judgmental as jehovah’s witnesses themselves what’s up with that?
i also know conservative ex jw’s that can do the same so again i’m not leaning one way or the other i’m just noticing factual observations.

I find the WTBTS to be very liberal-adjacent, very clear with Obama, they had to admonish people not to go vote, with the whole COVID mandates, and the UN and other scandals where they profit off FEMA and other government handouts around the world, they like to cozy up to left wing politicians.
And JWs often acted as if Jehovah directed government to give them money, to protect them, so they are indoctrinated to use government as a tool to extract value, without giving back by serving that country, which is another hallmark of the left, the faux pacifism/anarchism (unless it doesn’t suit them).
Instead their paradise would be to institute a world government of themselves, while their fever dream of the end is that all governments unite, this is a very Marxist, late 1800s and early 1900s socialist idea that there will be some spontaneous uprising that throws out the establishment, install a central government that will attack and abolish religions. Marx was wrong (luckily) but that ideology did end up in 2 world wars and a Cold War.
Just extract the movements on the world stage that would be necessary to institute a JW world order (aka Armageddon and Paradise), remove the references to specific religious/supernatural concepts (they’re not real Christians anyway) and how they would run it (hierarchy of uneducated and unelected top-down dictators), the intentional undereducation of children and their critical theories on science, race, gender and general underlying antisemitism (although that has been toned down in modern times, early on they were more clear) you end up with basically early 1900s socialism - Marxism, Nazism, Trotskyism.

I'm wondering what prophecy do you see fulfilled in Trump? He was there 4 years ago... the end didn't come.
The question is whether there will be a peaceful transfer of power as we've seen being the tradition for hundreds of years, well before the establishment of the WTBTS prophecies on the end, and as we saw when Trump left office. Kamala still hasn't conceded, now more than 16 hours after the election was first called by Daily Wire Election HQ, then Fox, then NYT and over 6 hours later, MSNBC finally called it. She has to certify the vote, will she?

james penton, who died recently, grew up in a jw family in canada and served as an elder.
unusually for a jw, he studied liberal arts at university and became a history professor.

Never heard of the guy, but looking into him, it amazes me that some people do hold on to some tenets of the JW faith, despite being anti-Christian in nature as if what they believed is valid, even if the people that taught them that believe are not. @dropoffyourknee, I think Harris was the closest they could get to a functional candidate, lets say they picked someone else, who would have the name recognition that has not already utterly failed in the past. Biden won purely on the "I'm not Trump and I'm practically dead and my agenda from the 1960s was pretty centrist" so people were expecting a "do nothing president" and he picked a slate of failed candidates that were likely to not accomplish anything (Harris, Buttigieg etc) which is perfectly fine, the economy was great, we were getting out of COVID, all he had to do was nothing, he then handed over his administration back to Obama's hand picked staff who got a home in DC just to whisper in the ear of Joe.
Do you think people want 8 more years of (Michelle) Obama? (Hillary) Clinton? Who would be a feasible candidate that's not to the left of what Biden made himself out to be? They threw out the Kennedy family name because he wasn't woke enough for them. Do you think Cheney would've pulled any votes?
Even if you get someone like Walz or Shapiro earlier, you end up allowing the opposition to pick that candidate apart, actually fact check them, actually investigate them, we didn't really get that with Harris-Walz, nobody knew until the debate that Walz was a frequent flyer to China, even after the debate nobody knew he has an entire second family he made with a CCP party official - talk about compromised. Give 2 more months and that becomes a huge scandal, even if the legacy media doesn't report on it, Shapiro has similar serious allegation skeletons in his closet, besides the fact he's a Jew which means Democrats in Michigan, Philadelphia and the West Coast won't turn out for him.

As I have said, the polls were obvious as to the win, but again underestimated Trump turnout. Trump wins not just the electoral college in a landslide but against all odds even the popular vote.
Sad that people think communism would be a better choice.
